Season of Light

November 28, 2014 to January 4, 2015

The Bryan-Gooding Planetarium is proud to present Season of Light. The show traces the development of many of the world’s endearing and familiar holiday customs, and how they involve lighting up the winter season – from the burning Yule log and sparkling Christmas tree lights to the lighting of the Menorah and luminaries. The show also explores a possible astronomical origin of the “Star over Bethlehem.”

The Alien Who Stole Christmas

Enjoy the splendor and beauty of the winter sky and join jolly ol’ Santa as he is joined by his alien “abductor,” Mr. Freep.  Together they explore the planets of the Solar System and meet the Christmas Eve needs of all their inhabitants.  This program is holiday fun for the entire family!
